Christy Nash received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law. She clerked for Circuit Judge James E. Keller, and Kentucky Chief Justice Robert Stephens before going into private practice.

Christy first worked in the Real Estate section of a large Lexington law firm, conducting residential and commercial transactions and resolving contract, tax and title disputes. Thereafter, she maintained a vibrant Family Law practice in Lexington, negotiating, mediating and litigating child custody, visitation and property division.

She joined the criminal defense team at Nash Marshall in 2023 and now focuses her practice on state court criminal defense, expungements, and the defense of juveniles charged with status and public offenses. She also represents graduate students and professionals charged with misconduct.

Christy is admitted to practice before all Kentucky courts, including the Kentucky Supreme Court, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association.
